Released June 10th, I don't have much to say about it yet but I will keep tabs on it!
Feel free to leave comments with your luck, or lack there of with any of the apps here or anything I might have missed! It was started in 1995 and is now in 24 different countries. .99 People are raving about this App and for good reason.
It mixes the Free mindset of dating like Ok Cupid with the features of an e Harmony interface.
Of the three apps, this one is being embraced by its users most.
The online dating industry is now worth $4 billion worldwide each year. But, where there is good news, there is usually some bad.
That figure alone is why this app guide was so hard to write and why so many people have been asking me to write about it. One major drawback (and why the app has any bad reviews at all, it seems) is because they have quite a few app-side bugs.
If your put off by the price tag, try the free version!
FREE The self-proclaimed "Facebook for Singles," this app delivers a clean interface with enough free features to keep people coming back.
It has quite a few features like free messaging and winking that make it an attractive service for the free app hunters out there.
The main complaint with this is that there are MANY people under 18 and no real way for the site to verify age. It seems its main drawback right now is that it can't get users to it.
That, mixed with "1 star reviews" from people who can't find anyone in a day or people who can't do "dirty things" with it and just delete it make it impossible for you to search on your own. With its new update, you now have an expanded ability to edit your profile and more search options.
In this guide, I'll do my best to wade through the madness and deliver you the best App options if you want to dip your feet into Internet, or shall I say, i Phone Dating. This is of course primarily a paid service, but at least you know your getting your money's worth if you chose to go the paid route.
The App Store is filled to the brim with Free and Paid "solutions" (most of them terrible) to dating, dating advice, "sex positions", chat rooms, etc. It crashes occasionally and message, answered or not, keeps the badges up. If they update it with a fix for the bugs, I doubt you'll find a better solution. One of the biggest players in the dating community is on the i Phone.
People that want to use the power of the internet to find a partner have to sift through the tons of garbage every random developer is putting out looking to grab a piece of that billion dollar pie. You can pay for an upgraded account, but its not needed. Most people say this app completely replaces the browser based one with the ability to upload pics and edit your profile. Their site is easy to use and they really do care about finding you someone of quality that matches your personality. I myself didn't experience many, if any, crashed. I think, though, these bugs don't make this app un-usable. You can edit your profile and upload pics from right inside the application.
